Introduction

The GATE 2027 Instrumentation Engineering Exam is conducted for admission to postgraduate programs in premier institutes such as IITs, IISc, and other institutes, as well as for recruitment in Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs). The exam evaluates a candidate’s understanding of undergraduate-level concepts in Instrumentation Engineering along with aptitude in general topics such as mathematics, reasoning, and general awareness.

The GATE 2027 Instrumentation Engineering exam is a Computer Based Test (CBT) consisting of multiple-choice questions (MCQs), multiple select questions (MSQs), and numerical answer type (NAT) questions.
